Dr. Brianna Maleki

Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Maleki graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in Animal Science. After graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 she and her husband moved to Boise. Dr. Maleki joined the Ada Veterinary Hospital team as an associate in 2020 and purchased the clinic in 2022. She enjoys seeing and providing for the human-animal bond that owners share with their pets.

Dr. Maleki and her husband, Sam, enjoy the Idaho weather and outdoor life. They can be found hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and backpacking with their two golden retrievers, Izzy and Clara.

Dr. Tom Betts

Originally from Washington, Dr. Betts graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Neuroscience then went on to earn his Veterinary Medicine degree in 2015. He moved to Boise and joined Ada Veterinary Hospital in June of 2015.

Dr. Betts along with his wife, Heather, who is also a veterinarian, enjoy the outdoors; their hobbies include hiking, camping, paddle boarding, biking, and relaxing in the sun. When not at work or outdoors they are kept busy at home managing 6 dogs (2 Border Collies, 1 Smooth Collie and 3 Pomeranians) and 1 cat.

Dr. Betts enjoys working with people and animals and being available to help when needed.

Dr. Nicole Moldstad

Dr. Nicole Moldstad is originally from southern Minnesota and after obtaining a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor, she went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.

Dr. Moldstad grew up in an active family and enjoys playing soccer, camping, hiking, and skiing. She is most happy to do activities outside
when her dog Dakota can come along. She has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember and is very excited to be a part of the Ada Veterinary Hospital clinics of Boise and Meridian.

Dr. Moldstad has come to especially love wound care and surgery but loves the variety that oftentimes walks through the door. She looks
forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Dr. Katie Warner

Dr. Katie Warner was born and raised in Boise and knew from a very young age that she would be a veterinarian when she grew up! After completing a Biomedical Sciences degree at Colorado State University, she went on to earn her veterinary degree from Washington State University in 2017. She also completed a rigorous internship in medical, surgical, and emergency care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then returned home to the Treasure Valley to offer compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine to animals and their families. She is happy to be joining the amazing team at Ada Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Warner loves making a difference in the lives of the animals she cares for and especially enjoys dentistry, ultrasonography, managing chronic conditions, and senior pet care. In her free time she enjoys fly fishing with her spouse and hiking with their two dogs, Maple (a naughty Basset Hound) and Rhodie (a perfect mutt).

Lyndsay

Lyndsay, her husband, Brandon, and their 2 kids moved to Emmett, ID from Corrales, NM in 2018. Lyndsay has always had a love for animals and it shows in her work. She grew up with horses and has been a large part of small animal rescue in New Mexico. Lyndsay’s family spends all their free time at Jr rodeos, playing in the river, or out exploring on the horses! Lyndsay has 2 Aussies, 1 Heeler, 2 cats, 1 horse and 1 pony.

She has a diploma in medical assisting but her heart belongs in the vet field. Lyndsay joined the team January of 2020 and has really progressed within the clinic.

Lexie

Lexie was born in Austin, Texas but moved to Idaho when she was one year old. She lives with her family, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 chickens. During high school Lexie volunteered at the World Center for Birds of Prey. There she educated guests about endangered raptors. She spent two years at Idaho State University completing general studies. During that time, she also went on a two-week sponsored immersion trip to Ballyferriter, Ireland. She has always had a calling working with people. After being hired as a receptionist she progressed into a veterinary technician role, fulfilling her career goal helping both people and animals. Lexie works in vet medicine at Ada Vet because of the quality and genuine care standards set by all her coworkers, which greatly benefit clients and patients.

Rose

Rose has lived with her family, great dane “Marco”, lab mix “Maddie” and cat “Peter Parker” in Boise for over 20 years. She is studying animal science at College of Western Idaho while working as a veterinary technician at Ada Veterinary Hospital. Rose spends her free time fostering animals, baking desserts, playing video games and knitting. Fun Fact: Rose worked in Yup’ik village in Alaska for 2 years as a substitute and her favorite animal is a Tanuki!

Missy

Missy moved to Idaho in 2009; around that time she became a young mother and dedicated her life to raising her daughter. She and her daughter currently live in Middleton with her fiancé, their 2 dogs and 2 cats. Missy has had such a love for animals since she was a little girl bringing home strays and wanting to help them. After 10 years of raising her daughter she decided to pursue her dream and work at AVH as a vet tech. She wants to be that example and show her daughter that the sky’s the limit and never give up on her dreams. Her other passions in life are the great outdoors; hunting, fishing, hiking, floating the river, snowboarding, and learning about wildlife. Her future goals are to have an animal rescue that also provides therapy to military veterans as well as recovering addicts.

Loren

Loren is a technician here at AVH. She moved from California at the end of 2021. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years and received her RVT license in 2016. Animals are her passion and she takes pride in being an advocate for them; knowing that she can contribute to their health and wellness. She is happy to be a part of this team and looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Tegan

Tegan was born in Alaska and has moved around the U.S her whole life. She is the middle child out of five. After she graduated high school she moved to Emmett to be with her family. She started at Ada Vet as an assistant and then moved into reception shortly after. Tegan is now training to become a technician for the clinic. During her free time she enjoys rodeoing and being with her dogs.
Lead Veterinary Receptionist

Jess

Jess is a receptionist and social media manager for AVH. She works primarily at our Meridian location and loves getting to know our current and new clients. Jess is a native Idahoan but has spent most of her life living around the western U.S. Jess has a full house with 3 kiddos, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. She is a photographer and is often camping or overlanding on her days off.

Ruth

Ruth was born and raised in the great state of Idaho. Working with animals is something she’s always wanted to do, so she’s very excited to contribute here at Ada Veterinary and work alongside a hardworking and compassionate group of people. She started as an assistant but most recently has transitioned to being a receptionist.

She values family time with her parents, older sister, and Mufasa, their pug. Growing up in a bilingual household where Spanish was their first language has really jumpstarted her love for travel. Traveling has been a great way to challenge herself in learning new languages including Arabic. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is something she truly loves!

Michaela

Michaela was born and raised in Idaho. She is originally from Rexburg but has lived in Boise for a little over 7 years now. She lives with her husband ,Carsten and 3 little children; one of which was born at the beginning of 2022 and keeps her quite busy on a daily basis. She also has an almost 2 year old Labradoodle named Enzo. Michaela is the youngest child and the only girl in her family. She loves spending time with her family and being outside when it’s not freezing. Starting work as a receptionist at Ada Vet has been an exciting adventure for her and she loves meeting all the cute furry animals each day.
CVPM- Practice Manager

Jamie Borge

Jamie Borge is our Practice Manager and has been a member of the team since 2010. She grew up on a farm in eastern Oregon and attended the University of Oregon. (Go Ducks!)

She has worked in the veterinary field since 2004 and enjoys working for a locally owned clinic because, “beyond being a business, we are really a part of the community”. She received her professional credential as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager from the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) in 2016.

Jamie and her husband, Dave, had twin girls in 2014 and they keep her busy. She currently has a houseful of rescued pets from Conrad Strays, Meridian Canine Rescue, and Idaho Humane Society.
